What is an eye wash?
An eye wash and/or eye rinse bottle is an important tool for rinsing chemicals out of the eyes. Indeed, rinsing immediately reduces the risk of a (permanent) eye injury after contact with irritating, corrosive and flammable substances. Therefore, the eye wash should be installed in a clearly visible and easily accessible place. If this is not possible because a water supply is not available everywhere, an eyewash bottle can administer the very first aid on the way to the facial shower.
How does an eye wash work?
Because contact with hazardous substances requires quick action, all our eye showers are very easy to activate with a lever or lid activation. The user then bends over the eye shower to rinse the eyes for at least 15 minutes. To ensure maximum operation, the eye shower should be checked regularly and the water supply should never freeze.
